Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM) allow researchers from one COST country to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST country, NNC institution, or IPC institution.

These intense scholar exchanges aim to foster collaboration, learning of new techniques, or take measurements using instruments and methods not available in the applicant’s own institution/laboratory.

STSMs are pivotal networking tools to achieve the Action goals of connecting and further developing literacy research. Fifteen STSMs will be granted in each year of the Action.
